High Admiral Frodo March reporting for the ISDII Warrior on this Sunday the 19th of April 2015.

Commodore's Thoughts

Warriors,

It's been a very important week for us. Lots of things happened, so strap in, here we go!:

First and foremost, our TCCOM, HA Daniel Bonini has successfully obtained the coveted position of M/FRG Phoenix Commodore. I would congratulate him on the huge honour of being my successor in such an important position, but unfortunately, despite the current trend of occupying more than one command position at a time, this means he will be stepping down as TIE Corps Commander.

I remember when Dan was the Commodore of the ISD Challenge, and I was his TCCOM. I had never really known him before then, and when I met him and saw how much work he put into his illustrious career, and into that ship that they're so fond of, I knew right away that he was, and I quote: "My kind of guy". I picked him to be my successor then, and I truly believed I left the TC in better shape than when I took command of it it because it was going to have a strong leader for the foreseeable future. (That's the other thing about Dan, he's a rock!)

Now Dan became XO and other things in between his two stints as TCCOM, but he didn't change his steady hand, sense of fairness, and overall excellence at our SP gaming platforms. He is our natural leader, and I will miss him dearly. In fact, he is the only reason I'm in charge of this ship right now.

I'd like to extend a big ISD Warrior thank you to High Admiral Bonini, and wish him all the best in his next endeavours.

***

That was pretty long, but there's more!

CM Drake Starfire transferred to the Hammer to be a flight leader. We wish him well.

CM Lanil Jast has stepped down as Commander of Sigma Squadron for RL reasons. I'd like to open the position for applications to the entire fleet. Applications go to myself and Colonel Frown. Anyone who has taken the SM/4 IWATS Course is eligible for the spot, so I encourage anyone who is interested to apply.

Most the MSE Medals were awarded for March. One is still missing. That makes three total, which is not a whole lot, but I'm very confident that April will be better! (It already is)

The COM Protector competition was announced by e-mail this week. It's a high score theft comp! I already have two pilots with confirmed high scores, and they've combined to steal 7 from HA Demspey already. GN Pickled Yoda leads the pack with 18 points (6 HSs) and MAJ Repulsor is second with 7 points (5 HSs). There's almost a whole month left in the competition, and a third place, so it's wide open. Follow the lead of these talented and hard-working pilots and get some High Scores of your own!

Finally, trivia week 10 results:

From the Bridge of the Warrior

Let's check in with our Wing Commander, Colonel Gilbert H. Frown

Q1: I heard you were keeping tabs on the COM Protector competition?

A1: You heard correctly. It pains me to enable such reckless behaviour as flying. Especially for high scores... But here goes:

High Admiral Dempsey currently has 93 Mission High Scores, down from 100. Credit goes to General Pickled Yoda, and Major Repulsor.

Personally, I think the Hammer Commodore should be happy. So much FCHG must be rather taxing.

Q2: Woah! Anything I can do to contribute and win medals?

A2: Unfortunately, there is. You can go the to battle centre, and fly missions for high scores. You have until May 16th. *sigh*.

Q3: Anything else?

A3: Do try to bring your wingmen home alive...

...That's enough for now, Sir...

Conclusion

Talk for Raise the Flag details has begun. I can tell you right away it will look a lot like last year's details, which is good.

Except this time we're antagonizing the Hammer early with our most recent competition, but I'm sure they won't hold a grudge.

If anyone has any input that they think I might have forgotten from last year's edition, please do not hesitate to e-mail me directly and I'll bring it up with the other Flag Officers.

Have a great week!

The only way forward is Through,
