TIE Corps Command Report
Weekly Report #109 – Submission date: April 13th 2015
Introduction

Greetings, pilots, and welcome to the latest, and what might possibly be the last, edition of the TCCOM report under my command.

Earlier today, I have shared with the Fleet Commander my intention to resign from my position. This is done with much sadness, but a necessary move due to real life circumstances, which would certainly limit my ability to properly lead this great club. A more than proper replacement is already in the works, and I have offered my assistance as an advisor, should it be required.

As one of my final actions before stepping down, I have kick started, with the admiralty, talks regarding the upcoming Raise the Flag 2015. There is a lot of work to be done, and I’ll stay available should my assistance be required by the admiralty in any way.

As a reminder, the new version of the new TIE Corps Pilot Manual was submitted last week to the Fleet Commander, who is revising it. As soon as it is approved, it will be released to the public and HA Dempsey will make the necessary adjustments to the TC database. I’m sure the new TCCOM and HA Dempsey will do a great job applying these changes to the fleet, and once again I remain at their disposal for whatever they need.

Well, on to the news for last week.

CM Lanil Jast had to transfer to the reserves due to real life issues, and thus left Sigma Squadron CMDRless. I hope a suitable replacement is found soon, and that Jast returns to us whenever possible.

CM Drake Starfire has transferred from Kappa Squadron, aboard the ISD Warrior, to Delta Squadron, as such returning to his original ship, the ISD Hammer.

The Warrior evaluation has already been reviewed, and returned to the SOO. The Hammer evaluation should be also processed before my tenure is out. Sit tight.

HA Dempsey has implemented the Steam course option in the TC profile, and as such all members who already passed this course had it added to their TC profiles this week.

1 – HA Anahorn Dempsey: “Not to be a poilsport - but are you sure you wanna use *TIE free 263 Impact!* for a competition? IMHO it's not really suitable. Not at all even”

Actually true, but still... :P“

It’s actually a great mission :)

Conclusion

It’s very tough, but I believe it is time for me to step down and allow someone else to run the show, and I’m certain that the choice is excellent, as it gives me peace of mind that the TIE Corps will remain the great club it is. Still, I’ll remain in the position as long as necessary to ensure a smooth transition

I’d like to thank everyone for your continued support in my tenure as TIE Corps Commander. It has been a blast, and it’s very hard for me to give it up. I hope to be able to return to the TIE Corps very soon, but now there are other things in life requiring my undivided attention.

Keep up the flying, and blast them rebels to oblivion.

May the force be with you.

Respectfully submitted,
