Another report, another upward step and the crowning touch to what has been a positive week. Warrior Day has dominated the recent past with first anniversary of our fine ship's commissioning, a notable milestone that will hopefully be the first of many. I'd like to congratulate everyone who has taken part over the previous 12 months and made this small part of the TC unique - you're all valued. Congratulations to Repulsor and Impulse on their promotions and many thanks to Frodo and the hierarchy for approving my own - it's been a target I didn't think I'd achieve but apparently sheer stubbornness can get you anything! Plif earned a thoroughly appropriate new title, well done Mr Pliffles, as well as the heavy burden of being named Warrior of the Year 2014. Well done to him and to his esteemed runner-up, our own GN Pickled Yoda. My own awful artwork has been selected as a wing banner, so bear in mind that you only have yourselves to blame! A short paragraph has neatly summarised a very busy week, but the MSE that will follow this report should do so in considerably more depth.

I'm continuing to fly the occasional flurry of SC LoCs so please feel free to join or group with me if I'm sighted online, so far the last few weeks of Thetan Ace MP have gone unclaimed and I've been flying solo. Yoda has continued to clean house with the ongoing Thetan Ace SP competition; 4 TIE Free's enough to claim the week of 23-29 March. Added to the previous two weeks whose medals I had singly failed to award Yoda can now expect a trio of IS-BW to land in the next few hours. I'm pleased to see Keth and Torres adding their own flight and IU activity, as well as more comms from the bulk of the squadron, led by Yoda, Mark and Marcus. An active squadron makes a happy commander!

Operational Picture

…What the hell were we drinking last night??? I vaguely remember the bar closing for 30 minutes while they restocked from the Flag, all nine Senior Rates, eighteen Embarked Forces, and three Guest bars. I don't even have enough fingers to count how many pallets of alcohol got rolled in, never mind how much of it I managed to keep down after I'd... err... tactically redistributed the previous few litres across the bulkhead in SIgma's ready room... and deck... and deckhead... maybe some of Sin's as well??? Oh gods... Am I missing a tooth?...

...He's prowling the hangar as usual, some sort of snap inspection of all craft but he hasn't specified what he's looking for and he doesn't want to be formally reported to - the lads are just keeping a safe distance and looking busy. To be honest sir, and with the utmost respect, he's just wandering around and shouting "hah, I knew it!" every thirty seconds or so. He's been in there for 3 hours and he's got to have looked at every fighter, shuttle and lander at least a dozen times. Are we missing something or has the WC got some other voic... orders he's following???...

CMDR's Corner

A good two weeks and a happy reward for myself, but equally as important has been the positivity of Warrior Day and an entire ship and TC's recognition of this squadron for our efforts over the last 12 months and the barely remembered days of Lambda, as well as our colleagues in Kappa, Sin, and Sigma - well done all.
