Epsilon Squadron Weekly Report #34 – 16th October 2011


CMDR-TCS-PROF/MAJ Dunta Polo here reporting in for Epsilon.

Captain Gyssler still remains a force to be reckoned with, holding a comfortable 2nd place on the TIE Corps killboard. Unfortunately there has been little other activity apart from my own flying.

Description: There are 9 million bicycles in Beijing.... Well, there used to be. As rumour has it, this rock will hit 7 BILLION people in 2011. So here's a crazy comp: kudos and shinies and everlasting bragging rights to whoever gets closest to the date the newspapers report 7 billion. Take a shot now :)


2. Ace of the TIE Corps, 2011

Description: As usual - whoever flies most missions wins



3. Epsilon Pilot of the Month


Start Date: October 1, 2011
End Date: October 31, 2011
Groups involved: Epsilon Squadron

Awards: IS-BW

Description: This competition is all about flight activity. One mission flown gives you 1 point. A mission with a high score is worth 2 points instead. The pilot with the highest score at the end of the month wins an IS-BW. Good luck!


4. Trivia Round 2


Start Date: October 14, 2011
End Date: October 21, 2011
Groups involved: Epsilon Squadron

Awards: IS-BR

Description: Round 2 of the current Epsilon Trivia competition contains two questions: 1) What shipping company was carrying the Imperial computer that held information on the Death Star II? 2) Who assisted Luke Skywalker and his Y-wing squadron in the capture of this computer? First pilot to submit the correct answers for both, within the competition time-frame, wins an IS-BR.

Closing Comments

A quiet week, but Captain Gyssler continues to distinguish himself. Trivia Round 3 will begin towards the end of this month, in the meantime Round 2 is still open for entries.
