Epsilon Squadron Weekly Report #51 – 20th February 2012


CMDR-TCS-PROF/LC Dunta Polo here reporting in for Epsilon.


It is good to see some flying from pilots other than MAJ Gyssler, and the squadron in general was much more active this week. Keep it up and merit medals may be recommended in the MSE.

I am undecided on the proposals for changing the BSF system – I would like to see a successful test before I offer comments.


TIE Corps News

TCCOM Eclipse put forward a proposal to change the processing of pilot files.

SOO La’an has stepped down from his role in the TIE Corps.

Closing Comments

I hope that Admiral Eclipse pushes forward with the improvements that have been discussed ad infinitum on the mailing list. The planned Epsilon competitions for February have been delayed further due to needing TCCOM approval on the database. The other issues are already well known, and I do apologise to those active pilots whose files have been mangled by the BSF system.

The departure of the Strategic Operations Officer is unfortunate, but I trust that a suitable replacement can be found, or the TCCOM role re-evaluated. If MAJ RichyV ever decides to return, I think he would make an ideal candidate for SOO having lead this very squadron successfully before my tenure, not to mention his role as Wing Commander. This also leaves the January MSE with AD Eclipse, so I am uncertain on when merit awards will be approved.
