Battle Information
This battle includes extra EH-style OPTs for the Toscan Fighter and the Pursuer Enforcement Ship, to be used in missions featuring EH only TOSs and PESs. However, using official patches from the Science Office is recommended instead.

Did not have that much fun. It was a bit boring as a kill, kill, kill mission.
Decent mission, though a bit too simple. Your possible choices of heavy fighters are excellent but the warheads loadouts are a lame. Ordinary missiles for heavy fighters is like Mike Tyson with ballerina shoes. This forced the mission to be overextended. However, worth some 1 point of FCHG of underperforming armoury.
A sad addition to the Wing XV saga. The historical accuracy of the mission is appreciated (Hornet squadron really had those poor fighters), but there's no reason for those fighters to be able to only carry normal missiles. Aside from that, the mission is just the usual fight against enemy fighters and cap ships, and has nothing impressive.
It is a decent mission, except there isn't much of a plot, just dogfighting.

Description ----------- This mission is part of a series of free missions about each of the squadrons in the ASF doing missions following their squadron objective in their assigned craft. Each mission tries to give a feel and a bit of history of each of the Squadrons. All the storylines of the missions are interconnected and have the ASF Squadron join together against a common foe. Story Line ---------- Now we have killed one of the New Republic's senior officers they have sworn revenge on the Vanguard and they have sent a large force to take us out. Keeping us pinned down with a captured Interdictor they've set a Light Calamari and a set of Strike Cruisers on us - including the wing of fighters these carry.
