Lame humor, "plot" of unresponsive tech support and ridiculous, non-informative briefings totally breaks what could be a good mission. The briefing is non-existent and I don't get author's attempts at humor. Figuring out what I was supposed to do was trial and error - mostly the latter. Once I figured it out, the gameplay was fun but that didn't make up for the failures.

This is yet another excellent example of a sub-par mission attempting to cover up its significant design flaws by trying, and failing, to be 'funny'.

HEHEHE...This was the funniest mission in the long, sad history of funny missions... And the briefing questions, JUST like microsoft tech support

Funny Stuff, and well designed to this is a very good free mission but what drops it to a 4 is it is easy and even on hard isnt much challenge at all.

Fun mission, humor as always from Beef. My only complaint is the failure of the INT to do its job with the ESCs.

Hilarious, simple, fun, what else can you say about this mission? I took extra pleasure in killing the phone company. :-P

Very funny and very well designed, I love it. One of the best missions I know. I don't agree that it's too easy, because it's quite tricky if you want all goals.

Quite amusing (albeit a little too close to the truth) and essentially bug-free as far as I can tell. It could be a bit harder, though; even on the maximum difficulty setting, it only took a few minutes to complete.

Description:

The TIE CORPS has just built a new Interdictor cruiser named IMPEDIMENT. You are the captain of this new ship and the commander of its escort flight of TIE Avengers. It is the maiden voyage of the IMPEDIMENT, and you begin to prepare the briefing for a routine patrol mission for BEEF FLIGHT. But before you can gather the pilots together to discuss the upcoming mission, the briefing screen starts spewing gibberish. You call the technical support line of Maxis Company, the makers of the screen (READ THE OFFICER QUESTIONS). After calling the tech support, you decide that this evil company must be erased from the galaxy. The IMPEDIMENT and BEEF FLIGHT are sent to destroy the company's base. But you must be careful not to destroy the good, loyal Imperial businesses.
