An enjoyable little battle, if simple (on easy). I think the pacing is actually OK with this one, you don't have to wait around forever for things to happen, ships dock and shuttles arrive when they're supposed to. It's not bad, it's just really boring. If you're looking for easy points, this is the way.
Take over a facility and disable the escaping shuttle. Keep an eye out on the Xwing wave that shows up far from the station because that will be the time the shuttle decided to depart and make its way to safety. Enjoyable mission without too much of a headache. Disable the shuttle and that should be your last objective. Not difficult at all.
I played on Easy. This was a quick and simple mission. There's not a whole lot to say here, frankly. The mission goes by pretty quickly as you kill some ships. Not much is really needed from you as a pilot.
Not worth our time really. Just an ok mission that doesnt ask too much from you. A walkover as you fly inside your fortress. Fly it for completion points.
A mission in the Space Cadillac is always a good mission by my book. Put aside the previous statement, this mission is actually a good one. You will have to protect a capture operation of a FAC and then fend off fighters and a CRL that came to the aid of the assaulted factory. The mission has it all, some dogfighting, some bombing, even some quick feet disabling of SHUs. Worth a try and a real invigorating FCHG point.
This is a good mission while you're flying a T/D against multiple NR Forces, Y-wings, X-Wings as well as some Capital ships (like CRL). The mission gives the opportunity to destroy many enemies, it's quick and easy. I wouldn't reccomend it for a competition though, because using a T/D makes your work much easier, so i give it a rating of 4.
Wasn't very challengeing, but flying a TIE Defender in XvT is always a blast!

Title: "Unknown Space" Game Platform: Balance of Power Add-on for Xwing vs TIE Fighter Single mission using the Official Emperors Hammer Craft Patch "TIE Defender" Designed by: WC/MAJ Smitroc/Avenger Wing II/SSD Avenger Unknown Space The Republic are now trying to expand their territory further East of the Outer Rim boundry. Naturally they have been unsucessful with regaining Imperial Terrority from the Powerfull Emperor's Hammer Fleet. Unknown Space is their only alternative at this point. Random Probes have been dispatched to specified Unkown Space areas in attempt to figure out the Republics findings; this may include such things as Planets, new life forms and Galactic Formations (Black Holes, Solor Systems, Super Stars,etc). Since unknown space is a relative mystery right now the Grand Admiral has decided to hand this situation over to the Grand Master himself. =========TRANSMISSION============= BeginAttention Sith Squadron: Crimson Vangaurd -Sith High Warrior Firefox The New Republic has now ventured into the Unknown Space region in an attempt to establish more territory and possibly populate a planet with a New Republic Capitol. Our assignment is to sought out this Republic Fleet. Imperial Intellegence informed me that this Fleet is only made up of meer Republic Scientists and a few Squadrons of Starfighter Defenses. Going into Unknown Space, the Republic figures they would not have to worry about the Emperors Hammer. We will proceed to the location coridinance transmitted via nearby Probes. When we arrive, we will hold steady unless attacked. There will most likely be a designated Science Platform were we will send in a transport with Republic codes which should give us clearence for docking. A trip device will be attached to the haul of the platform at which a virus will knock out all the systems and render the station completely offline. We will then proceed in attack formation and destroy the Starfighter Defenses and capture any remaining Fleet Vessels.
