This battle is a 5, hands down. The trick in the last mission for dealing with the luggage is to slow to 2/3 throttle and attack it from either above or below, and then when you get to .5 clicks away peel off, reset and then come back in. I was able to disable it within 4 minutes, which left plenty of time for other shenanigans.

Flying the TIE Praetor is a treat, as are the first three missions. Unfortunately, the last mission's offensive timed bullshit turns the experience sour.

My hundred and third battle in the TIE Corps.

This battle shows the high level of expertise of its creator. The plotline and the briefings are extraordinary. The DGN Lichtor V looks gorgeous and so does the M/FRT Luggage. Missions unfold in a very original and surprising way. Until last mission. What a mess! Rolling and rolling to bring down the 200% shields that are thicker than a SSD. No warheads and the Luggage has a crazy level of maneuverability, that makes the TIE Praetor go pale. A monumental nonsense than ruined this beautifully crafted battle that could have turned into a masterpiece...

This battle started out great. Nice missions, no problems. And then the mission creator screwed it all over with that last one. Pitting the player against the M/FRT The Luggage isn't an issue. But not giving the player warheads to help, and that idiotic time limit make the mission nothing short of frustrating.

I don't enjoy flying the TIE Praetor, but it was cool to see the Luggage and Lichtor V used in a mission. Per Ender's usual autobiographical missions, there was humor and hijinks to be found.

Description
-----------
Created to "historically" document the events of september 2001 on my Historical Profile. Part
of a series about all the different elite squadrons on the Order of Battle.

Story Line
----------
Mission 1: A group of terrorists from Bav have cowardly attacked the Corporate Division Head Quarters
at Phare, killing thousands. Grand Admiral Ronin has declared an all-out war on the terrorists, and
has demanded from outlying systems to declare their loyalties. Those that are with the Emperor's
Hammer on this can expect support in cash and material - those are against us can expect to see the
same faith as the terrorists!
One of the systems that has alligned itself with the Emperor's Hammer in this war is the Jeh'Ree
System. They claim their traditional enemy, the Genko System supports the terrorists. The Genko
System denies this, but has also refused to openly declare their loyalties to the Emperor's Hammer.
Seeing how the Genkoans usually support themselves as criminals, it is likely that the Jeh'Ree are right.

Mission 2: The Commodore of the ISD Vanguard, VA Ender mBind, is obviously in league with the terrorist
Genko System! His actions in the previous engagement prove that he disregards direct orders to aide his
terrorist friends.
Praetorian Squadron is sent to the ISD Vanguard to arrest the Commodore and take him to our special
detention center in the Jeh'Ree System, where he will be propperly interrogated.
Take care however; his crew is fiercely loyal to him and may not cooperate with the arrest. In that
case disabling is to be prefered over destroying - their moods will soon calm down when he's gone and
forgotten. We do not want a full-scale muteny.

Mission 3: Our spy sat at that System tells us that the M/FRT the Luggage has arrived at the PLT Brook
in the Genko System. We can assume that the Genkoans know of Ender mBind's role in the Jeh'Ree ambush
and will grant him amnesty.
The DGN Lichtor V will go to the platform and capture the former Commodore. We are far better equipped
then the Genkoans and we doubt the Genkoans will take too much punishment to protect the traitor... in
the past he has just as much harrassed them as any other TIE Corps Officer has.
The gloves are off, the Executive Officer changed our mission from "Alive" to "Dead or Alive": We are
free to handle this as we see fit.

Mission 4: The Combat Operations Officer, VA Brucmack, aboard the VSD Aggressor has reported seeing
the M/FRT the Luggage arrive in Region #30 of the Mi'Suh Zone. It would seem that the traitor Ender
mBind has arranged to join the United Pilots Alliance there.
We are currently at war with the UPA, and it is not going very well... If the Luggage makes it to
their forces, we might not be able to capture the traitor at all. The DGN Lichtor V has immediately
set course to the Mi'Suh Zone to try and intercept him.

NOTES
