Not a bad battle, your standard disable and board/protect mission. You can choose to fly a T/D which is a personal favorite. There are a lot of pointless craft just in the way for no reason in this mission though, they don't really add anything to the atmosphere or help build the story I didn't feel like. Also, the fighters were absurdly spaced apart - I would finish one group and another would hyper in from the opposite end of the map. Not terribly difficult (I played on easy), but a good way to get some points.
A nice mission to fly as a choice between T/D, M/B and ... T/A? Surely pick the last one! At least this mission had effort oozing out of it. I recommend giving this one a go.
Nice battle for a MIS, though again we have one without beams. What is wrong with creators? Missile Boat without beams is like as useless as an ashtray on a motorcycle. Besides that, the mission is challenging and fun to play. Not so simple and not so easy, it isn't long though. Worth a try
I almost flew this again just for the fun of it. It's a great space battle with lots of action from multiple sides.. One of the best missions ever!
Nice work Kate, this ones a fun combat exercise!
Really well balanced with lots of fighters to destroy, and a few capital ships to take shots at. You also have several wingmen and capital ship support lending hands so your not all alone. The radio messages are also a really nice touch with lots of banter between the Wing X pilots (just like i'd expect). The Base is also looks really cool. Nice to see something new and funky. Overall its a very good mission. I look forward to the next part of the series Kate

Kate Cantor "Valkyrie" Flyer _________________________ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Back up your Imperial.lst file in \\Train directory. 1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle. 2] Check the Misc folder in your XvT one for additional material like patches, sounds etc. 3] Press the X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter button to start XvT and fly the battle. ____________ Plotline: Operation Achilles Heel Status: In Progress Update Ready The Emperor's Hammer was able to make contact with a Verpine scientist who claimed to have to developed a technology that would neutralize the new shielding technology of the Rogue Super Star Destroyer Chi Long. We purchased the technology for a considerable sum and went to pick up the scientist, only to find him dead at the hands of a New Republican agent. The agent was able to transmit the plans to the CRL Crimson Tide before we could stop him, and it escaped. However, Imperial Intelligence has tracked the Crimson Tide to the Pelican's Point refueling port, situated in neutral territory. The ISD Challenge will proceed all speed to capture the plans from the Crimson Tide, lest it escape again and we draw nearer to destruction at the hands of the Chi Long. __________________________ LAST WORDS FROM THE AUTHOR: This mission was created for the competition "XvT Free 200" by Vice Admiral Master.
