I HATE needless waiting in missions. I play to have fun, not spend 10 minutes waiting for 12 different platforms to be boarded and captured.
This is not a good tie interceptor mission. too many ships with lasers and ions that can be synchronized to instantly one shot you and end your flight. You will also randomly lose sometimes to your ATR's crashing into the golan and blowing it up. You get no warheads, no beam system and no countermeasures. There are also a ton of bugs with it.
21 minutes on easy with full cheats. Most of this was waiting. Unacceptable. Why have such long distances and have one set of transports capturing wait for the next set to return? Insane amount of waiting!
Very long for a FREE mission, could easily be reduced by killing the wait times.

Tie Interceptor Sentinel is incorrectly set to follow targets then attack targets >> global group 6. This means it will attack your mission critical craft (Transport group cougar). They will need to be sent home before the transports arrive or you will lose these craft. It will also attack your capital ships and ATR's.
ATR group Tiger and Panther are incorrectly set to patrol waypoints instead of attacking their primary targets immediately.
ATR group Tiger and Panther will occasionally hit other members of their own flight group with their Advanced Torpedoes when firing them at the Golan 1, causing either heavy damage or mission failure.
ATR group Tiger and Panther will crash into the golan and base when trying to disable it, resulting in mission failure.
ATR group Tiger and Panther will crash into the golan and base when attempting to enter their hangars, causing mission failure.
Transport group cougar is incorrectly configured to disable global group 4. it only needs to be set to capture as global group 4 does not have any weapons.
Toscan Fighter group Echo is incorrectly configured to attack targets, TRN cougar, global group 1. This results in the lead fighter attacking the group while the rest of the group follows its flight leader, meaning that if they are attacked there is a high likelyhood of them locking onto whatever attacked them and killing it instead of focusing on the stormtrooper transports.
