Not difficult to complete either. It is just straight up dogfighting and could be a cookie cutter copy and paste job like so many others. Nothing special but also nothing great.
Nice, classic type of mission of protecting a stranded capital ship. Lots of bombers will show up attacking your 2 ISDs, so you will have to be quick or else you fail irremediably. Focus on the bombers while dodging any fighters. A nice, stay on your toes kind of mission, and worth a try.
This is one of my first XvT custom missions. I hadn't played XvT for a very long time (20+ years). So I put down some of the tough experience down to me. :) To summarize this mission, if you scratch your nose at the wrong time, entire ISDs disappear in an instant. Y-Wings, also known as Coffins in Space, will make you... cry! Who needs B-Wings, who needs Calamari Cruisers? Just load a ton of torpedoes on those coffins and let them go! The mission overall is ok. I always embrace a challenge. I got progressively better at it (played it on hard only) with each attempt. And just when you think you are safe, those who came to the rescue die on you and you have to restart... again. Good, solid mission overall, the first few minutes feel a bit hard done by, but after a few retries you get the hang of it. Oh and.. damn you Zekk for making this the 'Sin On Patrol' Mission :P
Very nice battle. I especially liked the way ISD Grey Wolf was attacked.

Title: Fallen Colossus Missions: 1 Mission Medal: None Game Platform: XvT Author: FM/LT Ric Gravant/Zayin 1-3/Wing IV/SSSD Sovereign Installation Instructions: 1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle. 2] Check the Misc folder in your BoP one for additional material like patches, sounds etc. 3] Press the X-wing Vs. TIE Fighter button to start XvT and fly the battle. Description: The ISD Colossus last reported in from Gamma sector, 2 Parsecs away from Alpha Sector. The Colossus was pulled out of space by an Interdictor Cruiser's gravity well. We lost contact with the Colossus nearly 3 days ago. Today, we finally got a return signal. The Colossus managed to destroy the cruiser, but she was attacked by a Dreadnaught as well. The Dread brought a light Mon Calamari cruiser with her. The Colossus was able to repel the attack, but the Colossus herself was severly damaged in the attack. Her shields have dropped down to 0 percent, her engines were disabled, and her hangar is not functioning properly, preventing her from releasing ships. She wired for help and the closest ship in the area was the ISD Grey Wolf, which was still far off in Beta Sector moping up a pirate convoy. The Grey Wolf transmitted this information to the SSSD Sovereign holding Home sector of Alpha. SSSD Sovereign dispatched Wing IV's Zayin Sqadron to protect the ISD Colossus until the Grey Wolf can arrive. Your mission as a Flight from Zayin Squadron is to ensure the ISD Colossus is repaired. Intel indicated that New Republic forces are also aware of the fact that one of the Hammer's finest ships is disabled and vulnerable. You must defend it at all costs.
